Elation is proud to join the Primary Care Collective October 17, 2022

Elation Health is thrilled to announce our new Executive Membership with the Primary Care Collaborative (PCC). The PCC is a nonprofit membership organization with over 60 Executive Members from every sector of healthcare. The PCC’s mission is to unify and engage diverse stakeholders in promoting policies and sharing best practices that support the growth of high-performing primary care. Executive Members collaborate on key innovations and initiatives to advance the vision of primary care embodied in the Shared Principles of Primary Care – care that is comprehensive, team-based, and focused on patients and families – and Elation is eager to contribute to these efforts through regular participation by our Director of Primary Care Advancement, Dr. Sara Pastoor.

The PCC’s advocacy agenda consists of two policy priorities: influencing payment and delivery models to ensure primary care is adequately compensated and effectively delivered, and increasing investment in high-value primary care that improves outcomes and prevents avoidable costs. Although a technology company, Elation Health is deeply committed to supporting high-value primary care as the foundation of a sustainable U.S. healthcare system.Elation looks forward to a fruitful partnership with the PCC, putting our full weight behind advocacy efforts, policy change, and best practices to support our shared vision of well-resourced, high-performing primary care in America. We are dedicated to furthering this shared primary care vision on many fronts, as evidenced by our collaboration with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and participation in the Primary Care for America (PCfA) coalition. We recently responded to a Request for Information (RFI) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) regarding their initiative to strengthen primary care, sending HHS three recommendations to advance primary care. We continue to seek opportunities to have these same discussions with other stakeholders while we work tirelessly behind the scenes to deliver technology and solutions purpose-built for the unique work of primary care.
