New AI payment posting completes Elation’s note-to-payment workflow, cutting practices’ manual work per claim by more than 70% since March 2026

SAN FRANCISCO – October 15, 2026 – Elation Health, the clinical-first AI platform for modern primary care success, today added automated payment posting, the final step in delivering a workflow that takes a primary care visit from signed note to posted payment automatically, so no one at the practice needs to manually work the claim. Physicians stay focused on the patient, and staff are freed to focus on the human side of care.

Elation is collapsing clinical and financial work into one AI-powered flow where the note feeds the code, the code feeds the claim, and the claim feeds the payment, with no separate systems to manage and far fewer handoffs and gaps to fall through. Elation’s AI agents also flag often-missed items in primary care, like wellness visit codes and quality measures, to ensure accurate payment. Since March 2026, that approach has cut practices’ manual work per claim by more than 70%.

“In primary care, every dollar counts,” said Kyna Fong, co-founder and CEO of Elation Health. “We’ve always built clinical-first, starting with the physician and the patient in the room. Now that same thinking carries all the way through to primary care payments. The clinician and patient relationship stays at the center. Our goal is simple: The physician sees the patient, and everything else just gets done.”

Practices can hand routine administrative work to Elation to complete while staying in control of how much autonomy AI has. When a payment is partial, a transaction is complex, or a claim is denied, Elation routes it to a person with the rationale and a recommended next step. Clinical decisions stay with the clinician. The company will continue to extend automation across the revenue cycle, from pre-visit eligibility to denial recovery, in the months ahead.

Along with payment posting, recent updates to Elation’s billing capabilities include:

  • Coding based on the practice’s own history. AI drafts procedure and diagnosis codes from the signed note, informed by how the practice has coded similar visits.
  • Fee schedules. Practices set rates by provider, payer, and location, and Elation applies the most accurate choice when the bill is created.
  • Claim review. Every claim is checked for eligibility, coding edits, and payer rules before it goes out, and practices can set their own rules to automate, stop, or flag claims.

Automated payment posting is in beta and available to new customers starting November 1, 2026. Elation will demonstrate the platform at the AAFP Family Medicine Experience (FMX) in Nashville, October 20-24, 2026, at booth #1639. Practices can register for a live demo, learn more here, or attend the upcoming webinar.
