How do you bill for new users added to our team?
When you add a new user to your team, we’ll make a one-time prorated charge to cover your new team member’s account for the remainder of your current billing period.
What kind of data migration services are included?
Elation offers a basic data import from PDF and C-CDA sources to pre-populate your records in Elation with:
- Complete demographics for your patient panel
- PDFs or similar documents within the correct patient chart
- Allergies, medications, problems, and immunizations
Elation offers one (1) complimentary demographics import, one (1) complimentary bulk C-CDA import, and one (1) complimentary PDF import. Elation reserves the right to charge up to $5,000 per import for any subsequent C-CDA and demographic data migration services.
Do you offer a discount for non-prescribing providers?
Yes. For non-prescribing providers, the rate is $199/month. This price is available for practices that have at least one full-price provider. Non-prescribing providers include acupuncturists, audiologists, midwives, therapists, dieticians, social workers and other healthcare providers who are not permitted to legally prescribe medications.
What happens if I need help and it's outside regular business hours?
Our office hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific, Monday through Friday. That said, you can report an issue 24/7 by accessing the help button in the Elation application. If you submit your issue outside of our regular business hours, we will follow up with you on the next business day. However, if your issue is urgent, we will respond within 30 minutes regardless of the time or day. An urgent issue falls into three basic categories:
- You cannot access Elation.
- Elation is not responding, and in a manner that affects your ability to care for patients.
- The data does not appear to be correct in Elation and can affect patient care.
How does my subscription plan work?
Once services are rendered, defined as either the kick-off call date scheduled with your dedicated Implementation Manager or the activation of your accounts, your credit card will be charged your monthly or annual fee. This will be a recurring transaction each month or year thereafter, depending on whether you have chosen the monthly or annual plan.
Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, Elation accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Can I cancel my account at any time?
With the monthly plan, if you decide that Elation Health isn’t the best EHR platform for you, you can cancel your account with no penalty. With the annual plan, once your 12-month commitment period is over, you can choose not to renew. In either case, we’ll even return all of your patient data back to you, free of charge, to help ease your transition to another EHR.
Are there any other costs to use Elation?
There is an additional cost for the eFax service only if your total inbound and outbound fax volume in the EHR exceeds 1,500 pages per month. Fewer than 15% of our users exceed this fax volume. For each page over 1,500 there is a charge of 7 cents per page. You may also incur a cost for 3rd party templating software, but we’ve negotiated special rates on your behalf, from a $30 to $120 one-time cost depending on the vendor. Not all of our users decide to purchase templating software; however, we want to bring this to your attention as some of our users have purchased TextExpander, PhraseExpander, or Breevy. All three must be purchased separately.
