Elation Customer Service Starts on Day 1 Elation Customer Service Starts on Day 1 March 24, 2015 Elation is a Software-as-a-Service company. That might not mean a lot to you. Perspective is a large part of our clinical first philosophy. We rely on perspective to guide our product development process. It helps us navigate critical decisions to ensure that we build clinical tools that support all of our users in their effort to deliver excellent care for their patients. We respect the weight of the responsibilities healthcare providers and their staff endure every day. She sustained a bad fall and is being cared for by hospice.” A devoted grandchild, I felt my eyes water remembering the familiar scene of illness, hospice, and helplessness. I watched as the doctor dialed a number and held the receiver to his ear. “Yes,” he said, “I need the on-call hospice
Elation celebrates its providers and staff as heroes and heroines. I’m not a delicate flower. If there were a frequent flyer program for ambulatory care I’d have reached diamond status. My mother jokes that I single-handedly put our family doctor’s kids through college because I spent most of my childhood, half of adolescence, and freshman year of college in her examining room with some ‘it’ going haywire. The generic word ‘it’ was used in our family to represent the ‘it’ that made us visit the doctor. So without me and all of my busted, broken, and bruised ‘its’, our family doctor would have nothing to do with his day. Fast forward 3,000 miles and 30 years later, and that one-sided
